Here are the steps:
… We chat on the phone so I can figure out where you’re starting from, even if you have nothing planned yet and don’t feel “ready,” this is the part of the process that gets you there. I’ll get to know you and help you figure out the foundations of your plans.
… Once you’re booked, you get questionnaires that will help me find the perfect location for you, plan activities, and curate timelines for you and your partner.
… Finally, when we’ve nailed the big picture, I help you hammer out the details. This includes finding lodging for you and your guests, recommending vendors, and all the small things to make your day stress free and fully planned

Growing up, traditions didn’t really resonate with me. Church on Sunday, pursuing a degree that felt more like an obligation, or even being all that close to my family. What made sense was community, friends that became family, a career driven by passion, and a religion of running around this world eyes-wide looking for joy in every corner.
This is why I made it my mission and full time job to challenge tradition and create wedding day experiences that aren't bound by wedding customs, but rather overflow with love, joy, and the exhilarating feeling of doing things your own way. I’m here to support and guide you through every step of the journey, and then tell your story through artful and meaningful photography that captures every moment. I want you to see your wedding photos for the first time and experience that insane moment of feeling jealous of your own life.

She made such a daunting task much more manageable from the beginning, and was able to provide us with information from her wealth of experience that was such a relief to us while planning our wedding day. Emilee was prompt to respond and displayed a great attention to detail that we very much appreciated during the planning process, including a detailed location guide and timeline that were very helpful. in making time for just us and our family. In fact, the hike we ended up selecting from her list was absolutely perfect, and she kept us on track the day-of to make sure we would get the sunset photos we wanted at the peak. I cannot recommend Emilee enough for your photos!! She was there for us in our planning stages, our crazy ideas, our last minute changes, our family needs, etc. She helped us with everything possible and we were so thankful to have such a kind and passionate photographer with us on our special day.
I have never enjoyed taking photos, but Emilee was so great with just letting us be us and reminding us its our day and we can do exactly what makes us us and the photos will come out perfect!

You could spend months scouting possible elopement locations and navigate getting permits on your own, you could create a timeline for your entire day and figure out the best place to be during sunset, or figure out how to navigate a forest road closure and simply hire a photographer to show up for a few hours.
You could, but eloping should be easy and fun, not stressful. I’m going to make this easy for you. I’ll be there from start to finish bringing your ideas to life, helping you with all of the planning steps. Not only that, but I’ll take the time to get to know you, and make sure we’re creating an elopement day experience that speaks to who you two really are.

She made us both feel so comfortable posing and being ourselves in front of the camera, and captured our multi-day elopement in the most beautiful way. It feels true to us as a couple and we got the best of both worlds with a gorgeous backdrop and our favorite people surrounding us. The process would have been super stressful without her expertise and help with locations and the photos looked straight out of a magazine. I felt so gorgeous and supported all the way through and couldn’t be happier with the results!!
