It’s always been quality over quantity, and you want your wedding to feel the same way. I’m willing to bet the idea of a big traditional wedding makes you want to run for the hills.
I’m an elopement photographer who helps couples plan all day elopements and multi-day celebrations. From scouting hidden gems, to curating timelines for couples who want to elope solo, as well as couples who want to share the intimacy of their day with those closest to them.

Plan this stuff for me
Here are the steps:
… We chat on the phone so I can figure out where you’re starting from, even if you have nothing planned yet and don’t feel “ready,” this is the part of the process that gets you there. I’ll get to know you and help you figure out the foundations of your plans.
… Once you’re booked, you get questionnaires that will help me find the perfect location for you, plan activities, and curate timelines for you and your partner.
… Finally, when we’ve nailed the big picture, I help you hammer out the details. This includes finding lodging for you and your guests, recommending vendors, and all the small things to make your day stress free and fully planned

She made such a daunting task much more manageable from the beginning, and was able to provide us with information from her wealth of experience that was such a relief to us while planning our wedding day. Emilee was prompt to respond and displayed a great attention to detail that we very much appreciated during the planning process, including a detailed location guide and timeline that were very helpful. in making time for just us and our family. In fact, the hike we ended up selecting from her list was absolutely perfect, and she kept us on track the day-of to make sure we would get the sunset photos we wanted at the peak. Emilee is not only an amazing photographer, but such a great person as well.

Growing up, traditions didn’t really resonate with me. Church on Sunday, getting a degree that “made sense,” or even being all that close to my family. What made sense was community, friends that felt like family, a career built on passion, and a religion of running around this world eyes-wide looking for joy in every corner.
This is why I made it my mission and full time job to defy convention and create wedding day experiences for couples that feel untraditional themselves. A day that isn’t filled with wedding customs, but love, joy, and that intense feeling of “we did this our way, and there was no better way.” Breaking tradition to create your own unique vision of celebration. Getting your wedding photos back for the first time and thinking “this is it, this is who we are.” That insane moment of feeling jealous of your own life. That’s what I want for you.

You could scout possible locations on your own, you could create a timeline for your entire day solo, and you could hire a photographer to show up for a few hours. All of these things are within your means and you could absolutely do them yourselves.
And yet, I still think you should hire me. I’ll be there from start to finish, doing everything in my power to bring your ideas to life, leaving you with no need to sacrifice a thing on your wedding day. Not only that, but I’ll take the time to get to know you, to help you with all of the planning, and to document the true nature of your relationship, and the unique way you chose to celebrate it.

My partner and I wanted the experience of an elopement with the community aspect of a ceremony at home, and Emilee saw our vision immediately. She made us both feel so comfortable posing and being ourselves in front of the camera, and captured our multi-day elopement in the most beautiful way. It feels true to us as a couple and we got the best of both worlds with a gorgeous backdrop and our favorite people surrounding us. The process would have been super stressful without her expertise and help with locations and the photos looked straight out of a magazine. I felt so gorgeous and supported all the way through and couldn’t be happier with the results!!
