This snow-park winter elopement was perfect. Dutchman Flats is easily accessible and provides a snowy landscape all while giving you views of Mt. Bachelor and the Three Sisters Mountains. This intimate wedding took place early in the morning, the couple read the views and got married in front of a few friends and family, then headed up the mountain to have their winter elopement adventuring with me in the snow.
We hiked out to an open area with few trees that gave us perfect views of the sun setting behind the mountains. Sierra and Ryan held each other tight the whole time trying to keep each other warm. They were wearing a wedding dress and tux in the snow. We then set up a picnic where they toasted to their marriage and popped open a bottle of champagne. After that, the sun began to set and give us beautiful colors in the sky! We finished taking a few more photos and ran back to my car to warm up. I showed them a few of the photos from my camera and they were so thrilled. Sierra had always wanted to elope in the snow. It was a perfect winter elopement.
The day couldn’t have gone any better! The florals were gorgeous with pink roses, matching the bride’s pink cheeks. After the picnic, we got to watch a gorgeous sunset. Following Sierra and Ryan’s winter elopement, the couple went back down the mountain to their hotel and spent the weekend celebrating by hiking all around Central Oregon.
