My partner and I wanted the experience of an elopement with the community aspect of a ceremony at home, and Emilee saw our vision immediately. She made us both feel so comfortable posing and being ourselves in front of the camera, and captured our multi-day elopement in the most beautiful way. It feels true to us as a couple and we got the best of both worlds with a gorgeous backdrop and our favorite people surrounding us. Where in Oregon do you photograph elopements?
I photograph elopements all across Oregon, including the Oregon Coast, Mt. Hood, Bend and Central Oregon, the Columbia River Gorge, forests, waterfalls, and high desert landscapes. If you’re not sure what area fits your vision, I’ll help you narrow it down based on the scenery you want and how you want the day to feel.
How do we choose an Oregon elopement location if we don’t know where to start?
You don’t need to have a plan before you reach out. Most couples don’t know the “perfect spot” yet, and that’s normal. I’ll help you choose a location that fits your priorities like privacy, scenery, accessibility, time of year, and whether you want more of a walk up spot or a short hike.
How far in advance should we book an Oregon elopement photographer?
If you have a specific season or weekend in mind, booking earlier gives you the most options. Many couples book several months in advance, especially for summer and fall dates. If your elopement is coming up soon, still reach out, I’ll always do my best to help if I’m available.
We want an adventure elopement… but we’re not big hikers. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Adventure can mean a mountaintop hike, but it can also mean chasing the coastline at sunset, exploring a forest trail, or finding an overlook with incredible views and easy access. I help you plan an experience that feels like you, whether you want something easy, moderate, a drive up location, or even a helicopter elopement.
We’re awkward in front of the camera. Can you help with that?
Yes, and you’re not alone. Most couples tell me they’re nervous about photos at first. My approach is built around natural direction, movement, and real moments so you don’t feel like you’re performing or stuck in stiff poses. Are you an “All Inclusive” Elopement Photographer?
Yes, but for me, “all inclusive” means your photography experience includes planning support, guidance, and a fully customized approach to your day. It does not mean a single bundled price that covers lodging, flights, attire, officiants, florals, or other vendors. You stay in control of your budget, and I help you build a day that fits what matters most to you.
