There are also multiple amazing towns nearby such as Sisters, around 20 minutes away. As well as Bend, around 50 minutes away. Both are charming small towns filled with hikes, outdoor recreation, breweries, and amazing food. Having all of that at your finger tips makes this an easy place to have an intimate destination wedding considering how much there is to do in the local area. Lastly, there’s an airport located in Redmond. Redmond is about an hour away from Black Butte Ranch.

Not only that, but the indoor reception space is just a minute walk away. The indoor reception space is made up of floor to ceiling windows. Your guests will be able to take in the beautiful views all day long.

They also offer space for a rehersal dinner. And if you want to get really fancy, they have spa packages that you and your guests can partake in, and you’re even able to set up a welcome brunch on the grounds. Something about Black Butte Ranch gives of “luxury summer camp” vibes and it’s one of my favorite venues I’ve gotten the chance to photograph at.

The Intimate Wedding at Black Butte Ranch

Clarissa and Joseph decided to drive out from New Jersey to have their intimate wedding at Black Butte Ranch. They drove to be able to bring along their pup! In the morning, the couple got ready in the bridal suite, as well as one of the other nearby suites for the groom.

Following that, the ceremony took place along the lake, under a floral arch. After the butterfly release and first kiss, the cocktail hour took place on the patio. The couple shared food and drinks with their loved ones taking in the gorgeous views.

Next, the intimate wedding at Black Butte Ranch was moved inside. The couple had toasts, first dances, and an absolutely incredible meal. The rest of the evening was a care free dance party. Finally, at sunset, we walked back outside for their sunset couple portraits. We had an absolute blast. We then danced the night away until it was time for everyone to go to their cabins.
