Choosing something different doesn’t mean settling for less. it means cresting space for what actually matters, caring more about your experience together than a wedding day that feels like a performance. Whether you’re planning an intimate Oregon elopement on the coast with your family, or saying your vows privately in Mt. Hood, you’re choosing a day that actually reflects who you are as a couple, not a day that feels like it's a party for everyone but you.
I help couples turn their elopement into something that feels less like a production, and more like the best trip they’ve ever taken. I don’t just show up with a camera and tell you where to stand. I help you execute a vision and build an experience-forward day you actually get to enjoy every minute of.
Over the years, I’ve guided couples through alpine lakes at sunrise, curated two-day wedding weekends in Europe, planned helicopter elopements in Alaska, and navigated tide charts for couples eloping on the Oregon Coast.
What all these couples have in common is this:
They don’t want to just “get married somewhere pretty.” They want to build an experience around it. I’m uniquely qualified to help you do that because I care about how the day feels, not just how it photographs.
She was always just a text away for any questions or thoughts throughout the whole planning process. We cannot say enough how incredible our wedding experience was and Emilee was a huge factor in creating it all. She was went above and beyond to accommodate us through every unexpected situation and exceeded all expectations we could have hoped for!! The photos and memories she captured are absolutely stunning and PERFECT and truly show the pure magic of the day! We cannot recommend Emilee enough! From start to finish you are in such helpful and caring hands and someone who WANTS to help you create your dream wedding/adventure and will go above and beyond for you. (she even served us and our few guests hot chocolate out of her car while out in the snowy mountains🥹🥲so dreamy, something i’ll never forget) Thank you thank you THANK YOU Emilee for our photos and memories we will cherish for our lifetime.
Almost every couple tells me on our first call that they’re nervous about being photographed. And yet, they all end up looking incredible. Here’s why:
The best photos come from having an amazing, meaningful day. When you feel supported and in the moment, the photos naturally reflect that.
By the time your day arrives, we’ve already built a connection that makes you feel comfortable around me and the camera. We’ve created an experience-forward timeline you’ll actually enjoy, in beautiful places. Most of your photos come from these candid moments we planned together, reflecting real experiences, not staged poses squeezed between rushed timelines.
Let's Plan your elopement
From the very first call she was polite, full of ideas and listened to every single detail we brought up for our day. Anytime I needed a question answered or advice on anything she got right on it.
The photos she took were absolutely magical and looked like something straight out of a fairy tale book. She told us how to pose and kept it super fun the whole time which helped us get a lot more comfortable with the camera. Don’t walk, RUN to the phone and call her if you need a planner/photographer.
That’s it, only 20 couples every year. Why? Because my business isn’t built on getting as many clients as I can to make a quick profit.
I do this to give couples my full attention, not only on their wedding day, but during the entire planning process. With me, having an elopement doesn’t mean you have to figure everything out yourself. I’m here for support, brainstorming, and every step.
You could spend months scouting possible Oregon elopement locations and navigate getting permits on your own, you could create a timeline for your entire day and figure out the best place to be during sunset, or figure out how to navigate a forest road closure and simply hire a photographer to show up for a few hours.
You could, but eloping should be easy and fun, not stressful. I’m going to make this easy for you. I’ll be there from start to finish bringing your ideas to life, helping you with all of the planning steps. Not only that, but I’ll take the time to get to know you, and make sure we’re creating an elopement day experience that speaks to who you two really are.

"My partner and I wanted the experience of an elopement with the community aspect of a ceremony at home, and Emilee saw our vision immediately. She made us both feel so comfortable posing and being ourselves in front of the camera, and captured our multi-day elopement in the most beautiful way. It feels true to us as a couple and we got the best of both worlds with a gorgeous backdrop and our favorite people surrounding us. The process would have been super stressful without her expertise and help with locations and the photos looked straight out of a magazine. I felt so gorgeous and supported all the way through and couldn’t be happier with the results!"
