This Oahu cliffside elopement looked like it came straight out of Jurassic Park. Rolling grassy hills and sweeping views all around us made this tropical elopement dream. After all, Oahu is an incredible place for an intimate wedding. Uniquely, winter is the best time to elope in Hawaii. Although this is only my opinion, there are a few reasons for this. In short, there are way fewer crowds, it’s still extremely warm, and everything is cheaper.
Charity and Keawe are actually local to Oahu. Charity was born and raised, while her now-husband moved there when he was young. Eventually, these two have been together for a long time and decided a cliffside elopement in Oahu would best represent their love for each other. Considering Hawaii is where they met, and they love it far too much to leave, this location was perfect.
The Oahu Cliffside Ceremony
Naturally, Chairy and Keawe know the island pretty well. This cliffside elopement location in Oahu is on the north shore. The north shore attracts way fewer tourists and is breathtaking. The two had their ceremony facing the cliffs and said their vows. Following that, we walked along the rocky shore and explored. Needless to say, this location in Oahu gave us the best of both worlds. Jungle vibes and a two-minute walk from the beach. By the way, we had the beach all to ourselves. Consequently, this is a lot less likely in the summer!
Finally, we took some finishing shots at sunset before parting ways. This Oahu cliffside elopement will live on in my mind. I’ve gotten to document elopements and intimate weddings all over, but this place is near and dear to my heart. That being said, if you’re looking to plan your own elopement, let’s chat!
