Sliding Sands

This is a great maui elopement location for those who are up for adventure, mountain tops, and longer hikes with beautiful views. This location isn’t for the faint of heart as it’s 11 miles with over 2,000 feet of elevation gain. Although, these are incredible gorgeous and unique views. Read more about it here.

Maui elopement location

Hoapili Trail

A gorgeous walk along the ocean with rocky trails and greenery. The water here is an incredible shade of blue. This location can be popular, although it isn’t crowded like other beaches in Maui. The trail is also 3.5 miles so there’s room to explore and find a private spot for a ceremony! Read more about this location here.

Coastal elopement location in hawaii

Twin Falls Trail

If you’re after stunning waterfalls, this is an amazing maui elopement location for you. This spot could be difficult for a ceremony, and might be better suited for bride and groom portraits or couples portraits in the water. The trail is very easy and the entire hike is under two miles. This is a fairly popular location and would be best explored at sunset or sunrise. Picture a morning swim here before getting ready for your wedding day. *chefs kiss* read more about it here!

Maui waterfall elopement location

Seven Sacred Pools Trail

Possibly my favorite location on this list. There location is STUNNING with a mix of gorgeous beach views, as well as crystal clear pools and waterfalls. All of this is packed into a trail that is less than a mile long and easily accessible to anyone. This trail is open year round. Click here to read more.

Ohai Trail Loop

If you’re looking for a cliffside elopement, this place offers striking views with an incredibly easy hike. It’s only 1.2 miles round trip, and is open year round. This is a gorgeous Maui elopement location. The views are beautiful on their own, but imagine a ceremony here at sunset or sunrise. Click here to read more!

Maui viewpoint elopement location

Makaluapuna Point

This gorgeous Maui elopement location is only 1.4 miles round trip. This is a bit of a rugged walk due to the sharp lava rock, so you’ll want to wear appropriate shoes. This trail is open year round and is also dog friendly for any couples wanted their pet to be apart of their elopement. See more info here!

Hawaii elopement location

Black Sand Beach

Ever thought about getting married on a black sand beach? This stunning maui elopement location is perfect for exactly that. Black sand gets very hot, so this would be a great location for the cooler times of the year. This is an extremely short walk in being only half a mile round trip. Click here to see more.

Wai’anapanapa Coast Trail South

Another gorgeous coastal location with black sand beaches, native flowers, and a lot of privacy. This trail is not heavily populated, which is fantastic for couples hoping to have more privacy during their day. Wether you just want to use this Maui elopement location as a ceremony spot, or set up a picnic and spend time here, you will have way less people to deal with than at popular beaches. This location is open year round, and has beautiful weather the whole time. This location is only two miles round trip, read more here!

Maui elopement location

Waioka Pond Trail

Waioka Pond Trail is well known by locals. This is more of a “secret” spot and isn’t well marked. It can also be prone to flash floods. This is imperative to know if you visit this spot on the list of Maui elopement locations. That being said, if you’ve ever dreamed of saying your vows and then cliff jumping into the water to seal the deal, this is an amazing spot for you. Alternatively, not all locations on this list need to be used as just ceremony locations. This is a gorgeous spot for seriously unique couple photos. Wether you just want to explore, cliff jump, or get in the water. Under water photography is so fun, and such a unique way to capture photos and memories together. See it here!

Pua’a Ka’a Falls Trail

Last on my list of Maui elopement locations is this gorgeous waterfall. If you don’t mind getting your feet wet, or even want to go for a swim, this is an awesome location for you. It’s only 0.3 miles, so this is a good spot for couples who don’t want to do very much hiking. This is a very popular location and would be best explored at sunrise to avoid crowds. Learn more about it here!
